Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) for CC Czwalina Consulting AG means more than responsible business practices. It is important for us, that our CSR initiatives are no isolated activities but rather correspond to an attitude and strategy tightly anchored within the company.

One of our priority commitments is to engage ourselves in areas representing our core competencies such as the support for managers in difficulties or guiding young adults to an effective vocational choice.

Our partners regularly invest time pro bono and make available their professional competencies for charitable purposes.


MyDestination – Future-Planning Program for Young Adults

MyDestination is a corporate social responsibility of the CC Czwalina Consulting AG and arose out of the realisation, what a central meaning an effective vocational choice has that fits one personality.

People often realize late that their career does not fit ideally with their personality, their interests and aptitudes. A survey we conducted among young adults confirmed a discontent concerning being personally and professionally supported with their career.

MyDestination takes this matter up and establishes a solid foundation for sustainably setting the career course.

MyDestination supports young adults in discovering their professional field of application. It brings about joy in the everyday work life, helps to realize success and gives the feeling to invest one’s life meaningfully.

With MyDestination, we offer students real added value. Study terminations and changes will not any longer affect investments in young people. We make a compass available to students that enables them to set career priorities.

MyDestination assures that job-training investments in junior employees will not fizzle out due to unnecessary occupational changes and reorientations. By the means of an ideal utilization of the employees’ capability and happiness, their contribution to the corporate success will be optimized.

Riehen Memorial

In 2011, Johannes Czwalina together with the Esther Foundation and Rudolf Geigy set up the Riehen Memorial in a former gatekeeper’s house to put in mind the bitter fate of Jewish refugees during the Nazi regime along the Swiss frontier.

Riehen Memorial is up to now the only holocaust memorial in Switzerland.

Gesellschaft zur Beratung von Führungskräften in schwierigen Phasen (GBF)

In 1993, Czwalina Consulting established the GBF (Gesellschaft zur Beratung von Fuehrungskraeften in schwierigen Phasen) as part of our ongoing commitment to social responsibility. The key goal of the GBF is expressed in the literal translation of the German name – “The society to provide guidance and support to business leaders in difficult times.”

This undertaking has been deliberately integrated into the Czwalina Consulting concern’s strategy. Through the GBF, we are consciously fulfilling our self-directed mandate to demonstrated social responsibility to business leaders.

The activities of the GBF are undertaken on a purely not-for-profit basis. Our engagement is underpinned and motivated a charitable and social desire to place professional consultants in the position where they can freely serve as confidants and trusted advisors. In this way, it is possible to provide ‘crisis’ support both at and in times when it would be very challenging to provide life coaching and advice on a fee driven basis. Currently we provide up to 1,000 hours of Coaching on either a ‘no fee’ or significantly discounted basis.

The GBF is registered as a charitable association in the Swiss commercial registries.
